I've noticed several articles on your blog about victims of police brutality, and wondered, how do you feel about "Black Lives Matter"?
My primary answer to this question is also a short and easy one. In God's view, all lives matter. God created all races of people, and loves them all as his children.
That said, undeniably there have been some clear cases of racial discrimination on the part of police here and there--this is evil and must be called out as such. "Black Lives Matter" is a thing, because police brutality incidents have occurred, and have made it a thing.
Let me state for the record that we are not in favor of rioting and other excesses of "Black lives matter" that have occurred at times.
Let me further state for the record that we are not against law enforcement. Police, like many public servants, have a very high calling to live up to, and we support their work--Largely by their blood and sweat are we all safe and our property secure. It is because they are so important, that when they fail the consequences are more dire, and the public outcry more vigorous. The integrity of the legal system and law enforcement is one thing that separates us from corrupt banana republics (and I don't mean the fashion retail outlet). If those who wear the badge lose sight of their high calling, then we risk sliding into tyranny.
