Today\u2019s music is appropriate for the celebration of the Feast of All Saints, which falls on Nov 1, and is often transferred to the following Sunday. All Saints is a church holiday celebrated by Roman Catholics, Anglicans, and many other Protestant communities, and it commemorates the witness of the holy men and women of God throughout history whose lives (and often deaths as martyrs) serve as a witness to God. (Eastern Orthodox churches celebrate a similar holiday but closer to Easter). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
